Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the discharge of waste water. Article 1 establishes that waste water shall be eliminated in such a way that the well-being of the community is not affected, in particular that the health of people is not endangered, and that it does not cause pollution of water and soil, or a change in their composition. Waste water elimination in the sense of the present Law includes the collection, treatment, discharge of waste water, as well as the draining of sludge. The text consists of 28 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Public waste water facilities; connection and use (II); Land drainage facilities and waste water treatment plants (III); Waste water information and data processing (IV); Damages inflicted on public waste water plants (V); Final provisions (VI).
