Abstract

A licence from the Superintendent of Health is compulsory to carry or transport guinea pigs between Malta and Gozo as well as to keep or sell guinea pigs. The Superintendent of Health is empowered to dispose of any guinea pigs, rabbits or other rodent animals which may be affected with an infectious disease or are likely to be the cause of spreading infectious disease.
