Abstract The present Guidelines lay down provisions relating to cutter and coastal fisheries. To ensure an efficient and sustainable fishery and to strengthen regional fisheries in general, the Land of Schleswig-Holstein grants subsidies to cutter fisheries and coastal fisheries. In particular, the Land promotes projects aimed at creating new living resources as well as at a more selective and species protective fisheries, and at the conservation of quality.
