Abstract

This chapter of the Indiana Code concerns groundwater protection. Specifically, it provides for the registry of contaminated sites; groundwater quality clearinghouse; investigation, contamination of private water supply wells, advisory, emergency action; quality standards, onsite sewage systems; water well testing costs incurred by nontransient noncommunity water systems operated by certain nonprofit centers, reimbursement by department, procedures; water pollution control board, protection zones, notice and hearing; water pollution control board, construction and monitoring of surface impoundments, and application.
