Abstract The present Regulation enacts section 101 of the Water Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the protection of groundwater in the province of British Columbia. Section 8 establishes that a person responsible for drilling a new water supply well must, immediately on completion of the drilling, attach to the well a well identification plate obtained from the government.
