The Authority shall be under the control of the Minister of Government responsible for the environment and may, with the approval of the Minister, make Regulations for the carrying out of the purposes of this Act. The Authority shall develop all aspects of solid waste management in Grenada with due diligence and efficiency and in conformity with appropriate administrative, technical, managerial and engineering practices and with due regard to ecological and environmental factors, and shall provide or cause to be provided, promptly as needed, facilities, services and other resources required for solid waste management.
