Abstract

The present Regulation provides for the control and regulation of the production and marketing within Ontario of fresh grapes, including the cases in which prohibition of such production and marketing obtains. The Local Board has the power to: a) require persons engaged in producing or marketing fresh grapes to register their names, addresses and occupations with the local board; b) require the said persons to furnish related information, including the completing and filing of returns as the local board determines; c) appoint persons to inspect the books, records, documents, lands and premises and any fresh grapes of the above-mentioned persons.
