Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the production and use of green energy with a view to the commitment of the government of Ontario to foster the growth of renewable energy projects using cleaner sources of energy, and to remove barriers to and promote opportunities for renewable energy projects. The text consists of 20 sections divided into 4 Parts as follows: Interpretation and general application (I); Designated goods, services and technologies and renewable energy projects and energy conservation in the public sector (II); Energy efficienty (III); Regulations (IV).
