Abstract The present Regulation is made under the Climate Change and Emissions Reductions Act. In particular, the aim of the Regulation is to reduce energy, water, and sewer costs; reduce operation and maintenance costs; reduce greenhouse gas emissions; promote the use of clean renewable energy; help protect rivers and lakes; enhance occupant comfort and health; help attract and retain employees and tenants, and boost property values; reduce negative impacts upon the environment and the depletion of natural resources; promote environmental awareness; create a demand for green, and more sustainable, products and services.
