In particular, the present Regulation provides for the control and regulation of the production and marketing of grain corn, soybeans and wheat. The Local Board has, inter alia, the power to: 1) require producers, buyers, processors and any persons or bodies who assemble, offer to sell, sell, ship, store or transport grain to register their personal details with the Board; 2) require the afore-mentioned to furnish such information relating to their activities with respect to the production or marketing, as the case may be; appoint persons to inspect, at any reasonable time, the books, records, documents and premises; 4) appoint persons to inspect, at any reasonable time, grain in the possession of the afore-mentioned persons if the inspection of the grain is necessary to the Local Board’s exercise of its powers or performance of its duties under the Act and the regulations.
