Abstract

The Governor decrees to authorize the following types of hunting: (a) commercial hunting; (b) artisanal and sport hunting; (c) hunting for scientific research and educational purposes; (d) hunting for the regulation of the number of game; (e) hunting for acclimatization, repopulation and hybridization of game; (f) hunting for the purpose of captive breeding; and (g) traditional hunting for indigenous peoples of the North for implementation of traditional rights with a view of preservation of their traditional way of life, and peoples not belonging to indigenous peoples, but who permanently live in the areas of traditional living and traditional economic activities of indigenous peoples for whom hunting is subsistence living. It establishes authorized hunting periods, periods prohibited for hunting, and lists wild fauna species (game) authorized for hunting. Hunting or capture of female wood grouse shall be prohibited.
