Country/Territory Russian Federation Territorial subdivision Perm Document type Regulation Date 2000 (2014) Source FAO, FAOLEX Subject Wild species & ecosystems Keyword Protected area Management/conservation Wild fauna Hunting/capture Biodiversity Game Geographical area Arctic, Asia and the Pacific, Black Sea, Caspian Sea, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), Eastern Europe, Europe, Europe and Central Asia, North Pacific, North-West Pacific Abstract This Governor’s Decree establishes that on the territory of state biological hunting reserves “"Belogorsky" and "Pozhvinsky" shall be prohibited the following activities: (a) all types of hunting, except for hunting for scientific research purposes, educational activities, and also hunting for the purpose of the regulation of the number of game; (b) testing and training of dogs; (c) hydro amelioration and irrigation; (d) blasting operations; (e) disposal, storage and treatment of domestic and non-domestic waste; (f) burial of radioactive and toxic substances; (g) application of pesticides, mineral fertilizers, chemical plant protection means and growth stimulants; (h) timber extraction from 1 April to 1 June; (h) vehicle traffic outside public roads except for authorized institutional staff and landowners and land tenants of land plots located within the boundaries of the reserves; (i) industrial procurement of mushrooms, berries, medicinal plants and non-timber forest products; (j) clear cutting of forest species in a radius of 300 m around wood grouse mating places; (k) clear cutting of forest species in a radius of 100 m along river banks and banks of water storage reservoirs populated by beavers; and (l) grazing and passage of cattle nearby wetlands, and nesting grounds of waterfowl, moorfowl and upland fowl from 15 April to 15 June.
