Abstract

This Governor’s Decree regulates artisanal and sport fishing by the Russian nationals and foreign citizens for individual personal consumption, and protection of aquatic biological resources. Fishing in accordance with nominal once-only licence shall be authorized in specifically allocated waterbodies and specifically allocated delimited areas of waterbodies. Artisanal and sport fishing shall be authorized with the use of fishing gear with fishhooks and crayfish traps. Total allowable daily catch shall be 20 kilograms of fish and 30 species of crayfish per fisherman. Underwater fishing shall be authorized without aqualung and other self-contained underwater breathing apparatus outside public water recreational areas. Use of explosives, electric devices, firearms, air guns, harpooning devices and poisonous substances shall be prohibited.
