Abstract

The scope of creation of protection zone of nature monument of regional significance “Salt Lake” shall be prevention of adverse anthropogenic effects thereon. The protection zone shall be located on land of state forest fund includes forest plantations represented by soft-leaved and coniferous species. The boundaries of protection zone are indicated on site around the perimeter by special warning signs and notice boards. Any activities causing negative (adverse) impact on natural complexes of nature monument shall be prohibited, in particular: (a) placement of cemeteries, cattle burial grounds, domestic and non-domestic waste disposal, radioactive, chemical, explosive, toxic, poisonous and hazardous substances disposal; (b) aerial measures for combating pests and plant diseases; (c) placement of gas stations, fuel and lubricant warehouses, service stations used for technical inspection and repair of vehicles, and washing of motor vehicles; (d) placement of special storage points for pesticides and agrochemicals and application thereof; (e) discharge of effluent and drainage water; (f) exploration and mining of widespread minerals; (g) clear cutting of forest species; (h) damaging forest plantations, vegetation and soil cover; and (i) making fires, organization of rest areas, bivouacs, tourist stations, camps (except for specially equipped areas) and staging points. The following activities shall be authorized within the boundaries of protection zone: (a) forest management, care of forests and sanitary rehabilitation arrangements performed in accordance with forest management regulations; (b) recreational development; (c) scientific research; (d) ecological education; (e) collection of berries, mushrooms, fruits, edible nuts by citizens for individual personal needs without disturbance of natural growing conditions thereof and within authorized time periods; and (f) performance of the arrangements for conservation and reproduction of wild fauna and wild flora species, rare and endangered species of mushrooms, wild fauna and wild flora.
