This Governor’s Decree enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

The scope of creation of protection zone of nature monument of regional significance “Light Swamp” shall be prevention of adverse anthropogenic effects thereon. Economic and other activities causing damages to natural complexes shall be prohibited, in particular: (a) mining; (b) construction of edifices, buildings and other infrastructure; (b) hydro amelioration, irrigation, construction of dams, levees, water intakes, any other actions leading to changes in the hydrological regime of waterbodies and the territory as a whole; (c) application of pesticides, mineral fertilizers, plant protection chemicals and nutrients; (d) clear cutting of forest species, except for authorized forestry arrangements aimed at liquidation of the consequences of natural disasters and rehabilitation of plantations; (e) pollution and littering of the territory; (f) placement of dumps and waste disposal sites; (g) procurement of soft resin; (h) passage and grazing of cattle; and (i) activities preventing conservation and restoration of natural complexes and damaging them. The following activities shall be authorized: (a) selective felling of forest species; (b) authorized forestry arrangements aimed at liquidation of the consequences of natural disasters and rehabilitation of plantations; (c) forest fires extinguishment; (d) reforestation and fire prevention measures; (e) repairs and reconstruction of communication lines; (f) collection of mushrooms and berries; (g) study tours; (h) scientific research; and (i) other authorized activities.
