Abstract

This Governmental Resolution determines that: (a) land that has lost fertile soil due to technogenic activities shall be considered as damaged; (b) landowners and users of public land, as well as other natural and legal persons performing works involving damage to the land must protect the harvested crop soil layer and use it for the reclamation of damaged land or for low agricultural productivity to improve land use; (c) natural and legal persons operating mineral deposits and peatlands that perform geological prospecting, exploration, construction and other work related to fertilization of land in case of damage to the soil layer, must rehabilitate damaged agricultural land and forested land and, if this is not technically possible, to use them for water reservoirs. Data on damaged land shall be inserted in State Land Cadastre.
