Abstract

This Governmental Resolution validates strategy for the fire management in the forest, special reserved areas, agricultural lands and urban forests in residential areas and the national strategy for forest fire management. It states that forest fires pose a serious threat to the rich biodiversity of forests including rare and endangered species of flora and fauna, and can have negative impact on social communities engaged in forestry, using forest resources on stability. The scope of this Governmental Resolution shall be early identification of forest fires, prevention and extinguishing thereof, in particular in the forested areas and areas covered by vegetation. The goal shall be creation of the unified fire monitoring and information system for the use of prompt response mechanism.
