Abstract

This Governmental Regulation establishes the principles of organization and functioning of the Ministry of Health, Labor and social protection. Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection is the central sectoral body of public administration, which ensures the implementation of the state policy in the areas of its competence. The mission of the Ministry is to analyze the situation and problems in managed areas of activity, the development of effective public policies in the areas provided for in clause 6, quality monitoring of policies and regulations and proposing reasonable measures for state interventions, as a result of which shall be made effective solutions in areas of competence, ensuring the best balance between expected results and envisaged costs. The Ministry performs the functions established by this Regulation in the following areas of activities: (a) healthcare; (b) labour; (c) social protection; and (d) demography.
