Abstract The present Governmental Order is applicable to various categories of hazardous waste as classified in the Annex attached thereto. Records of wastes shall be maintained by: a) waste producers; b) natural persons or legal entities authorized to collect, purchase or treat waste; c) operators of waste disposal equipment; d) transport contractors and forwarders of waste. Records of wastes pursuant to Article 3 through 5 of this Order shall not be kept unless the annual amount of waste exceeds: a) 100 kg of hazardous waste, with the exception of hazardous waste specified in the Annex to this Order; b) 1 ton of special waste; c) 10 tons of other waste. Producers of special waste, and natural persons or legal entities authorized to collect, purchase or treat special wastes shall prepare reports for each calendar year of the occurrence and handling of special and hazardous waste using specific forms and shall mail them to the district environmental authority of jurisdiction until the 31st January of the following calendar year latest.
