This macro objective will be achieved through the promotion of socio-economic growth, sustainable and comprehensive, focusing actions on the area of rural development, basic social services and infrastructure, creation of employment opportunities as well as in creating an environment conducive to private investment and development of the national business. Success in fighting poverty assumes that, in all areas of activity is taken into account the preservation of the environment, through the rational use of natural resources, based on a correct planning and control of human activities. The Government will continue to promote the integration of environmental aspects in policy formulation processes, programmes, development plans and projects, ensuring that natural resources are used rationally and harmoniously.
