Entry into force on the 1st of June 2000.
Abstract

The Government decrees to validate the Regulation. This Regulation prescribes the procedures for cultivating and marketing cereal seed. The document shall apply to the following cereal species, the cultivation of which is intended for agricultural production: rye, wheat, barley, oats, triticale, buckwheat and maize. The document consists of XII Sections that contain 74 paragraphs and 8 Annexes. Section I lays down general provisions. Section II regards seed categories. Section III deals with requirements prescribed for cultivation of seed. Section IV concerns inspection of seed-cultivation fields. Section V deals with evaluation of seed quality. Section VI regards packaging of seeds. Section VII regards labelling of seed packages. Section VIII regards marketing of seed. Section IX deals with registration of seed cultivators, processors, packers and traders. Section X concerns seed documentation. Section XI regards post-control of seed in test fields. Section XII lays down final provisions.
