This Governmental Decree enters into force 12 months after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

Regulation on the limitation of emissions of volatile organic compounds arising from the use of organic solvents in some paints, varnishes and products used for finishing cars is aimed at limiting the total content of volatile organic compounds in some paints, varnishes and car finishing products to prevent and reduce air pollution caused by the contribution of volatile organic compounds to the formation tropospheric ozone. This Regulation sets maximum limits for the content of volatile organic compounds in some paints, varnishes and finishing products cars, to achieve the aforesaid goal. The requirements of this Regulation apply to the products specified in Appendix No. 1, intended for placement on the market in a finished form. It shall be authorized to place on the market varnishes, paints and products used for finishing of cars specified in Appendix No. 1, only if they match the maximum limit values for the VOC content set out in Appendix No. 2.
