Abstract Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic is a state executive body responsible for the development and implementation of state policy in the field of: (a) protection and strengthening of the health of citizens in the Kyrgyz Republic; (b) social development and gender equality; (c) social protection of the population, including support for socially unprotected categories of citizens, children in difficult life situations, persons with disabilities (PWDs) and the elderly citizens; (d) protection from domestic violence; (e) labor, including issues of promoting employment of the population and labor protection; (f) protection of ethnic Kyrgyz, Kairylmans, refugees, as well as victims of human trafficking within the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of prevention and combating human trafficking; (g) state social insurance and pension provision; and (h) basic state and compulsory health insurance of citizens.
