This Governmental Decree enters into force 180 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Governmental Decree validates the List of works for quarantine phytosanitary disinfection in accordance with the following classification: (a) destruction or deprivation of viability of harmful organisms in regulated products or on regulated objects (species) with application of pesticides of the first hazardousness class according to sanitary rules and regulations, approved in accordance with the established modalities; (b) destruction or deprivation of viability of harmful organisms in regulated products or on regulated objects (species) with application of pesticides of the second, third and fourth hazardousness class according to sanitary rules and regulations, approved in accordance with the established modalities; (c) destruction or deprivation of viability of harmful organisms in regulated products or on regulated objects (species) by thermal method; (d) destruction or deprivation of viability of harmful organisms in regulated products or on regulated objects (species) by decrease in temperature (refrigeration); (e) destruction or deprivation of viability of harmful organisms in regulated products or on regulated objects (species) by vacuuming; (f) destruction or deprivation of viability of harmful organisms in regulated products or on regulated objects (species) by increasing air pressure; and (g) destruction or deprivation of viability of harmful organisms in regulated products or on regulated objects (species) by ionizing (radioactive) radiation.
