Availability of school meals shall be considered a component of national food security. The main objectives of the Strategy shall be set forth as follows: (a) meeting the demand of educational insitutions in meals complying with established nutritional standards; (b) strengthening state guarantees of availability of high quality shoool meals; (c) creation of conditions for sustainable development; and (d) protection against risks to food security.
