Abstract

The Government, for the purpose of carrying out common state policy in the field of veterinary, decrees to validate the Regulation. Chief Veterinary Division and State Veterinary Inspection attached to the Ministry of Agriculture (Chief Veterinary Division) are the common system of state management institutions authorized to control, coordinate and supervise over veterinary practice at the enterprises, organizations and institutions irrespectively of their form of property, and to conduct common state policy in the field of veterinary. The main task of Chief Veterinary Division is to introduce state policy in the field of veterinary. Chief veterinary division is entitled to carry out control and survey in the following spheres: a) elaboration and carrying out the republican special programs as regards prophylaxis and liquidation of quarantine and extremely dangerous animal disease; b) elaboration of legislative and other normative legal acts, standards, regulations, instructions and recommendations regarding veterinary; c) protection of the territory against introduction from foreign states of pests of quarantine animal disease; d) carrying out veterinary and sanitary expertise; e) inspection of veterinary and sanitary conditions of lives-stock markets; f) observance of veterinary and sanitary and hygienic requirements as regards keeping, feeding and exploitation of cattle, procurement, processing, storage, utilization and transportation of animal products and animal feed; g) organization in accordance with state sanitary survey of sanitary control over import, export, use, processing, storage, purchase and trade of animal products. The Regulation consists of 3 Sections. Section 1 lays down general provisions. Section 2 establishes the tasks and the functions of the Chief Veterinary Division. Section 3 establishes the rights and the duties of the Chief Veterinary Division.
