This Governmental Decree enters into force seven days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regulation governs live quarantine species, soil and land and shall be applicable to the following species: (a) live quarantine species of acarids, nematodes and insects; (b) live quarantine phytopathogenic bacteria, viruses; and (c) soil and land. Import of the aforesaid species into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic for carrying out scientific research shall be authorized to scientific organizations, the statutory goals of which provide for the implementation of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities. This Regulation shall not be applicable to species imported into the Kyrgyz Republic for research purposes from the Member States of Eurasian Economic Union. Import of the aforesaid species shall be authorized in the presence of import permit issued by the competent authorized state institution. The permit is terminated in the following cases: (a) after the expiration of the period for which it was issued; (b) in case of liquidation (reorganization) of a scientific organization; and (c) upon revealing, after the issuance of a permit, inaccurate information in documents submitted to obtain it. Annexes contain the form of import permit, application form for obtaining it and act for checking sites of scientific research institutions of living quarantine objects, soils and land for compliance with isolation conditions.
