Entry into force notes
This Governmental Decree enters into force the day after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Governmental Decree establishes that veterinary supervision, with a view of organization of preventive measures for combating zoonotic diseases, transmitted from animals to human beings, is of great importance for the sustainable development of the national economy. The scope of veterinary supervision shall be control over epidemic situation with a view of prevention of introduction and spreading of infectious animal diseases. The objective of the governmental policy shall be protection of livestock and human beings against infectious diseases through application of anti-epidemic preventive measures, vaccination and diagnostic studies, and also by supply of sufficient stock of veterinary drugs to the competent veterinary authority.
