Grain monitoring is carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the federal state budgetary institution "Russian Agricultural Center" subordinated thereto, territorial bodies of the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service and federal state budgetary institutions subordinated thereto. As part of grain monitoring, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation analyzes and evaluates the volume and consumer properties of grain produced in the Russian Federation. Grain monitoring is carried out in order to provide agricultural producers with reliable data on the consumer properties of grain at the place of its cultivation and to provide state authorities with information on the consumer properties of grain. The object of grain monitoring is grain during the harvesting period at the place of cultivation with a geographical indication, intended for the formation of a batch of grain.
