This Governmental Decree enters into force on 4 December 2010.
Abstract

This Governmental Decree establishes the procedure for import, export and transit rules for food, materials contacting with food and as well as the rule for export of commodities under veterinary control. The lot is imported or exported or transited in the presence of hygienic safety certificate, quality and safety certificate, state safety certificate or a compliance statement or laboratory test in the presence of the protocols of expertise. The List of materials and substances contacting with food shall be determined by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. In case of prohibition of import foodstuffs the mark “Import is prohibited”. For the distribution of foodstuffs manufactured of the national territory shall be requested conformity certificate of a registered compliance statement. In case of import of non-processed foodstuffs of animal origin the lot must be accompanied by certificate of veterinary and sanitary expertise.
