Abstract

This Governmental Decree establishes that Hunting Regulation shall be mandatory basic rule for hunting on the national territory. The right to perform hunting shall be granted to persons officially acknowledged as hunters by the authorized state institution in the sphere of hunting and hunting management. Hunting shall be authorized exclusively on hunting grounds licensed to perform hunting management. Wild fauna species subject to hunting shall form the totality of state hunting fund. This Governmental Decree established hunting periods, specifying that hunting of wolves, jackals, crows, rooks, magpies, bee eaters (Meropidae) near apiaries and starlings shall not be regulated and shall be unlimited. Hunting and capture of protected animal and bird species shall be authorized on condition of limited number of removal from natural environment thereof. Sport and artisanal hunting shall be prohibited during the hunting period twice a week (on Tuesday and Wednesday). On the national territory shall be authorized the following types of hunting: (a) with smoothbore hunting firearms; (b) with rifle-barreled firearms (except for bird hunting); (c) with traps (within number 3 according to the classification); and (d) with hunting dogs and hunting predatory birds.
