This Governmental Order enters into force on 22 November 2014.
Abstract

This Governmental Decree lists products subject to sanitary and epidemiological supervision and establishes the procedure for issuance and registration of sanitary and hygienic compliance certificate. The aforesaid certificate shall be based upon sampling, research and testing by accredited laboratories. Sanitary and hygienic compliance certificate shall be issued by the competent authority based on positive results of laboratory tests. The applicant must submit the following documentation to the competent authority: (a) application; (b) documents certified by the manufacturer (standards, specifications, regulations, technology instructions, ingredients) according to which the foodstuff is produced; (c) documentation related to packaging and labelling of foodstuffs; (d) manufacturer’s statement related to the use of GMO, hormones and pesticides; (e) quality certificate; and (f) copy of label certified by the applicant; (g) certified toxicological expertise; and (h) certificate of presence of biologically active food additives.
