Abstract This Governmental Decree validates: (a) the procedure for import and export veterinary medicines (drugs) (Annex 1); and (b) import and export certificates for imported and exported veterinary medicines (drugs) (Annex 2). The scope of the procedure for import and export veterinary medicines (drugs) shall be to ensure availability of efficient, safe and qualitative drugs with a view of protection animal health and environment, ensuring state veterinary supervision and prevent import and export of unregistered, expired, falsified and poor quality veterinary medicines (drugs). Imported and exported drugs shall be accompanied by non-transferable veterinary certificates, issued by the competent authority, for the period of validity of 6 months. The competent national authority must verify drugs for compliance with standards and technical specification supplied by the manufacturer with the results of documented expertise and/or laboratory testing. Registration of drugs shall be performed after identification thereof. Importer and exporter of drugs shall be responsible for reliability of submitted information. Only drugs registered in the Republic of Armenia shall be authorized for import and export. Quality of drugs must comply with technical requirements of the manufacturer. Quality certificate of imported and exported drugs shall be issued by the manufacturer. Veterinary medicines at the time of import to the Republic of Armenia must have the remaining period of validity no less than 2/3 of the shell life period. Full text Russian Website www.arlis.am
