This Technical Regulation establishes technical requirements for the safety of feed and feed additives, the processes of their manufacturing, storage, transportation, trade and use. Feed and feed additives shall be traded in accordance with these technical regulations, other regulations that apply to them, and the requirements of technical regulations in force in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. If such additives do not meet the safety requirements of technical normative legal acts, they shall not be authorized for use. In accordance with the legislation, feed and feed additives containing genetically modified organisms of only permitted lines may be authorized for use. Feed additives are traded and used on the territory of the Republic of Belarus after the state registration in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation. The frequency of control of safety indicators is established by the manufacturer in agreement with the state veterinary supervision authorities. Feed and feed additives manufactured, imported or marketed shall not contain such quantities of foreign or harmful substances or organisms as may cause quality defects in livestock products or harm people, animals or the environment.
