The main actions to achieve the national goal of neutralizing land degradation are: (a) stop the degradation of agricultural arable land by switching to agro-ecological principles (including the best "organic" technologies available); (b) performance of forest restoration, afforestation of degraded areas, improvement of forest areas, sustainable use of forest resources; (c) improvement of pastures management; (d) classification of degraded land; (e) development of monitoring indicators aimed at neutralizing land degradation; and (f) implementation of measures for biological rehabilitation and improvement of land disturbed as a result of subsoil management.
