Abstract This Resolution, composed of 11 articles, approves the National Strategy for Sustainable Development (ENDS) for the period 2005-2015. The Strategy consists of a set of provisions that, starting from the current situation in Portugal, allow within 10 years a sound economic growth, a better social cohesion together with a raising level of environmental protection. This Resolution approves the strategy’s overall objectives strategic axes and guidelines for its implementation.
