The Ordinance enters into force on 1 August 2003.
Abstract

The Government Ordinance, which is composed of 20 articles and eight Annexes, sets out requirements concerning human health protection applying to the production and placing on the market of meat products and certain other products of animal origin intended for human consumption and preparation of other foodstuffs. This Ordinance does not apply to the preparation and storage of meat products and certain other products of animal origin intended for human consumption in retail shops.
