Abstract The Government Ordinance, which is composed of 26 articles and seven Annexes, establishes specific requirements for the production and placing on the market of raw milk, heat-treated milk and milk-based products intended for human consumption. Raw milk for human consumption placed on the market must fulfill the requirements specified in article 3, Annex 2 part D.I.2. and in Annex 4 part B.2. If raw milk has not been sold to consumers within two hours from the end of milking, it must be cooled as specified in Annex 2 part C and must fulfill the requirements specified in Annex 4 part D.
