The Ordinance enters into force on 1 August 2003.
Abstract

The Government Ordinance, which is composed of 21 articles and six Annexes, lays down detailed animal health conditions applicable to equines and to their transportation, trade with European Community Mmember States and their importation from third countries. During veterinary checks equine animals must not show any clinical symptoms of disease. Checks must be carried out up to 48 hours before their transportation.
