Abstract The present Government Decree applies to the control of TSEs in sheep and goats. Its provisions complement Regulation (EC) No. 999/2001 as regards measures to prevent the spread of TSEs in suspected cases of TSE in sheep and goats, to eradicate the disease in cases of BSE and classical scrapie in sheep and goats, and for epidemiological surveillance of TSEs in sheep and goats. The Decree contains detailed provisions on the restrictions of movement of animals suspected of having TSEs, collection of information of exposed animals, measures to be taken when classical scrapie has been established, measures to be taken at animal husbandry sites, etc. Full text Swedish Website mmm.fi
