This Government Decree entered into force on 1 January 2005.
Abstract

The purpose of the present Decree is to prevent the spread of animal diseases through animal foods from such areas where, due to certain serious animal diseases, restrictions have been placed on animals or their products. It contains provisions on certain animal diseases to be observed at all stages of production, processing and distribution of animal food, including detailed rules on animal health requirements and health certificate requirements. Annex 1 contains a list of EU legislation concerning animal diseases. Annex 2 contains disease requirements for meat products. Annex 3 contains disease requirements for milk and dairy products.
