Its provisions cover the compulsory notification of activities in the food sector, including of primary production sites for food and seeds, as well as food premises. The Decree also covers the handling of notifications, decisions on approval and conditional approval. It also contains special provisions on the eligibility conditions for inspectors at cutting plants and egg packing plants and the eligibility conditions for professional qualifications of official veterinarians supervising slaughterhouse operations or dairies.
