Abstract This Government Decree approves the Regulation on the State economic intervention in order to guarantee public food and fuel supply. The Regulation, consisting of 6 Chapters divided in 51 articles and 3 Annexes, provides for ways to create emergency stocks and price stabilization criteria (with and without subsidies). Chapter 2 specifies Rules Relating to Rice and Edible Oils Supply. It also establishes criteria for intervention on the markets for essential goods covered by this law, which shall be judged according to different situations.
