Abstract The present Government Decree lays down rules on the reception of waste in the following types of ports and harbours: 1) Commercial ports; 2) Guest harbour; 3) Marina; 4) Fishing port; and 5) Repair yard. The Decree lays down requirements related to the facilities these ports and harbours shall have to receive different types of waste, such as waste containing oil, waste containing harmful liquid substances, biodegradable waste, plastic waste, etc. The Decree further specifies what information shall be included in the port and harbour's waste plans.
