The scope of this Government Decision is to improve pastoralism of range flock. The period of use of range flock pastures shall not exceed a total of 150 days from November 1 to April 1 of the following year. In exceptional cases, the time of entry and exit of animals can be changed by discussion at the council meeting. Species and number of animals wintering and springing in range flock pastures will be discussed at the council meeting in September of each year, taking into account the requests submitted by the province and local government, as well as the crop status of the respective province, municipality and range flock pastures. On the basis of veterinary, sanitary, and origin certificates issued by the veterinary authority, the administration shall issue permits for wells and water points to be used for wintering and springing herds in winter and spring pastures.
