Abstract The present Regulations are made under the Farm Financial Stability Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the control of gophers causing extensive damage to crop and pasture land. Gophers have been declared a pest and Gopher Control Rebate Programme provides a 50 per cent rebate to producers and rural municipalities for the cost of gopher control products.
