The Plans that must set out: 1) the main outcomes in relation to food-related issues that the Minister or the Authority aims to achieve in relation to Scotland; 2) indicators or other measures by which progress in achieving the outcomes may be assessed; and 3) the policies that they intend to pursue in order to secure the achievement of the outcomes. Under the Act, “food-related issue” means (a)a food matter, or (b) any other matter connected with the availability of food, the production, processing or distribution of food, the preparation or service of food for consumers.
