Abstract

The purposes of the regulations contained in this instrument are to prevent and combat serious corruption. This instrument enables the Secretary of State to impose financial sanctions (regulation 11 to 15) and travel bans (regulation 17) on persons involved in serious corruption. Part 2 provides for designation criteria and establishes disclosure regime. Part 5 lists exceptions and licences. Part 6 Information and records, disclosure regime. Part 7 enforcement.
