Abstract

These Bye-laws prohibit hawking and street vending without a certificate in the Ghanzi District. Certificates shall be granted by the Registrar, i.e. a person authorized by the District Council. Certificates shall not be transferable. The Registrar shall keep a register of certificates. The Bye-laws also define duties regarding hygiene of hawkers or vendors and prohibit certain forms of street vending and hawking.
