Abstract

These Rules, made by the National Standards Board, prohibit the exhibition for sale, sale, distribution, preparation for export, export or otherwise disposal of goods manufactured by an industrial process in Ghana without a valid licence to use a standard mark. Before the granting of a licence production premises shall be inspected and good sampled in order to ascertain if goods are in conformity with the standard prescribed for such goods. Appeal may be lodged against a decision of the National Standards Board with an Appeals Board.
